While I may not be the world's most prolific writer of prose and poetry, I sometimes do write things I think can be published. Sometimes it's on a whim, others it's because an interesting submissions call sparks something in my brain.

 

As I'm sure you know, some stories just aren't for most publications. However, I still want these stories to have a home somewhere. A little island of misfit prose, so to speak. I've made this spot for them. My goal is to upload a batch of these rejected little beauties for you to read at the end of each December.

So pick a year below and enjoy every bland character, stale plot, moment of unearned emotion, unecessarily saccharine prose, and typo. They're free, and they love you.
